November 3rd, 10th, & 17th, 2022 from 3:30 p.m - 5:30 p.m.
Escape into Nature Club (HS) is a nature-based immersion program for older children and youth adults. This club allows participants to "let go" after their school day and escape into nature as they explore and investigate the world around them. Participants will enjoy hiking different areas of Rock Hollow Woods during the 2 hour program and might engage in activities such as team building challenges, hands-on learning, mindfulness and journaling, and of course free exploration!
The group will meet three Thursdays in the month of November. The program will be held from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. and is offered to students in 9th - 12th grade.
Escape into Nature Club (HS) is taught by Molly Goslin, a certified Special Education teacher with experience teaching children of all abilities both academically and socially. Molly will mindfully guide children and youth at Rock Hollow Woods as they learn to connect nature back to their own lives.
Participants will need to bring water, snack, flashlight, and always dress for the weather.
