Owl Prowl at Rock Hollow Woods
Join us on an Owl Prowl at Rock Hollow Woods on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Learn about Pennsylvania's native owls, their calls, fun facts about how they've evolved into one of our animals of the night. We'll begin with a short discussion and then we will hike the trails at dusk listening and looking for our feathered friends, and we're sure to see some other interesting critters along the way!
Please bring your own flashlights or headlamps, dress warmly, and wear sturdy hiking shoes or appropriate footwear. $5 per person. If you know someone who loves owls, hiking at dusk, and being outside, please share!
***This program is geared towards adults and families with children ages 7+ as it involves hiking at dusk/night and staying still/quiet as we search for our owl friends.*
