After-school Adventurers Nature Club is a nature-based immersion program for children. This club allows participants to "let go" after their school day and escape into nature as they explore and investigate the world around them. Participants will enjoy hiking different areas of Rock Hollow Woods during the 2 hour program and might engage in activities such as team building challenges, hands-on learning about topics in nature, and of course free play exploration!
The group will meet for two Tuesdays in the month of January. The program will be held from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. and is offered to students in Kindergarten - 8th grade.
After-school Adventurers Nature Club is taught by Mary Kate Bogert, a certified educator with experience teaching children of all abilities both academically and socially. Mary Kate will guide the children through the magic of Rock Hollow Woods as they explore, discover, and grow together.
Participants will need to bring water, snack, a flashlight, and always dress for the weather.
