Solar-Powered Summer is a one-week day camp that meets five mornings. Jessica Christman, a certified educator, will facilitate this program at Rock Hollow Woods.
Discover amazing things about our most important star! Solar-Powered Summer will allow campers to explore how different organisms utilize the sun's energy. Participants will engage in nature crafts, including making fabric sun prints and beaded sun catchers, as well as hands-on activities like creating solar ovens. We will explore various topics, such as rainbows and solar panels. Other highlights include creek exploration, team challenges, games, and free play on our incredible 67-acres.
Campers will receive a Rock Hollow Woods t-shirt the first day of camp.
