Discoveries! is a day camp that meets five mornings, exploring science, reading, and the arts in the woods. Kristin Swanson, a certified early childhood/elementary educator and librarian, will engage campers in woodland/wetland science explorations while providing activities related to literacy and the arts.
Campers will get wet and dirty as they explore nature in meadows, woods, streams, and swamps of Rock Hollow Woods, participate in age-appropriate teamwork challenges, read and hear stories, write and draw in journals, and create artistically. Of course each day will include hiking, and time for free play fun and making new friends!
Campers will receive a Rock Hollow Woods t-shirt the first day of camp.
