Toddler Time on the Trail is a nature based program that meets five Wednesday mornings with Kristin Swanson, a certified elementary and early childhood educator. Children, parents and the instructor will explore various themes. Participants will take a short hike in the great outdoors. As they walk, they may observe signs of Fall: leaves changing colors, critters preparing for the colder months, animals on the move, or birds soaring in the sky. Toddlers will enjoy free play each session. Other activities may include: listening to a story, singing a song or completing a craft. Walking back participants will enjoy a hike.
Appropriate for children five years and under with his or her parent, grandparent or adult friend. (Children under the age of one can attend at no charge *This does not apply if only registering one child, meaning, if you choose to enroll a child younger than one-year-old, you will need to pay the program fee.)
*To keep participation totals consistent, older siblings (above 5) may not attend Toddler Time programs
