Our mission is to provide children with outdoor opportunities to discover and learn about the natural world and empower them to protect their environment. Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was proudly formed in 2012 by a group of dedicated educators.
Getting outside is imperative to physical and mental health. At Rock Hollow Woods, children and adults combat “nature deficit disorder” by learning to find the balance between technology and nature through authentic hands-on experiences that breed curiosity and foster creativity.

Hike in the woods. Climb trees. Find a salamander in the creek. Create a nature journal. Watch a caterpillar transform into a butterfly. Observe the signs of the seasons. Build a fort. Take a picture. Play. Embrace nature. Be happy. Explore, discover, and grow. |
