Outdoor STEM* is a one-week day camp that meets five mornings. Janemarie McKay, Governor Mifflin School District's Cumru Elementary Innovation and Gifted teacher, will engage campers in activities involving STEM in nature.
Did you ever think about designing and building a boat out of artifacts from nature? Participants will engage in STEM-related challenges utilizing the Engineering and Design Process. They will focus on the Growth Mindset Model and the Power of YET!
*Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
Campers will receive a Rock Hollow Woods t-shirt the first day of camp.
Appropriate for children entering 2nd through 7th grades.
