Solar-Powered Summer - July 15th - 19th, 2024; 12:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Solar-Powered Summer is a one-week day camp that meets five afternoons. Cathy Jo Lutz, a certified educator, will facilitate this program at Rock Hollow Woods.
Discover amazing things about our most important star! Solar-Powered Summer will allow campers to explore topics like harnessing the sun, the solar systems, our seasons, and photosynthesis. Participants will engage in hands-on activities like creating their own greenhouses, experimenting with what melts or dries in the sun, learning about clouds, shadows and rainbows, and of course enjoy free play on our incredible 67-acres.
Campers will receive a Rock Hollow Woods t-shirt the first day of camp.
