Instructors and campers will engage in a variety of nature journaling activities throughout Rock Hollow Woods’ 34 acres during Nature Journaling and Creative Writing. Instructors will share and model rich writing and revision techniques. Campers will revise their journal entries adding clarity and style to their writing. Campers and staff will collaborate and publish an anthology of the campers’ poems, short stories, and illustrations. Everyone leaves with a memory book of great writing!
Nature Journaling and Creative Writing consists of 5 morning classes.
Appropriate for children presently in 2nd through 8th grade.
